I received one package of Sally Hansen’s New Salon Effect Nail Polish Strips in 440 Animal Instinct. I LOVE the idea of being able to apply pretty patterned nail polish to my fingers and toes without the mess, smell, and waiting time of traditional nail polish. However I did NOT like the pattern I was sent in my Spring Beauty Vox Box.
At my local drug stores I see these strips selling for approximately $10. While I think these are a lot of fun I do think $10 is too much for only one set. Also I am frustrated that all these products only contain 16 nail strips. Last time I checked I have a total of 20 fingers and toes. I do try to cut some in half, but these are more difficult to split because of shaping compared to their ‘stickers’ competitors.
My younger sister LOVES the print I received, but I would never wear a bright neon pink zebra striped anything let alone nail decoration. I am very much hoping that a good coupon and sale comes along very soon so that I can purchase a pattern much more to my liking.
Have you tried Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips or a competitor’s ‘sticker’ version? If so what do you think of Sally Hansen’s version and the cost for one box?
