Review: Sheer Cover Duo Concealer in Light/Medium
Overall Product Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
Shade Matching Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars
Another item in my Spring Beauty Vox Box from Influenster was a concealer from Sheer Cover. In the survey I filled out before my box was shipped I was asked to choose between a couple skin tone choices. I am very light/fair skinned so I choose the lighted option which was Light/Medium. Even before receiving the box I was concerned that neither would match my skin.
Sure enough once I finally received my box (why is it whenever you cannot wait to receive something it seems to take forever to arrive?) I found that neither shade looked like it would be a good match for me. I tried the light first and it was just touch off color to my specific skin tone and the medium was way too dark.
I tried mixing them together but it didn’t seem to blend in as well. I was disappointed because I had read good things about the company once I received my box. I love trying out new cosmetics products. I like wearing a moderate amount of makeup that for the most part is in natural or neutral colors. My face often turns bright red and so I am always looking for a primer, concealer, and/or foundation to help cover up the redness I so frequency get.
I think it is an interesting product and if there were more specific skin tone choices that it would make this product so much better for me. Have any of you ever tried any of the Sheer Cover cosmetics? And what are the three cosmetics and/or supplies that you couldn’t live without?
