Product Review: Studio Gear Holiday Palette
I was fortunate enough to be selected for Studio Gear’s Holiday Palette campaign on Brand Backer. Brand Backer is an awesome site that helps to connect bloggers and brands with one another. This was the first campaign I was accepted into when I joined just a few weeks ago.
Just this ONE slim palette will help you get ready for all holiday comings and goings! Included in this easy to stick in your purse compact palette are four eyeshadows and one blush. While there is not a mirror included, I really do love that there are directions including a diagram on how to easily apply a perfectly sparkling holiday look with two variations! So even if you are not a professional MUA (makeup artist), which I am not, Studio Gear makes it very easy to create a professional-like look.
The four winter wonderland inspired eyeshadow shades included are:
Frost (upper left hand corner) – a light shimmering silver leaning towards white
Platinum (lower left hand corner) – a darker shimmering silver leaning more towards grey
Coal (upper right hand corner) – a glittering charcoal grey that looks in the pan than swatched
Glimmer (lower right hand corner) – a shimmering sheer gold
In the center of the palette is what I consider the highlight of this palette, a perfectly coral-pink blush that truly lives up to its name Snowy Glow. This highly pigmented shade adds just the right amount of blush to look naturally flushed! Just make sure to use a light hand so as to not apply too much at a time.
All of the shades are easy to apply and blend into numerous cohesive looks perfect for winter and the holiday season! You can find this awesome little palette, HERE, normally retails for $40, but is on sale for only $25 right now! And just for being a reader on Jaclyn’s Musings, Studio Gear has given me a code to share with all of you for 10% any order on Studio Gear.com just by using the code SGHOLIDAY.
You’ll also find this little bit of holiday goodness on my first (annual) Jaclyn’s Musings Holiday Gift Guide 2013.
Wishing you and yours a very happy and healthy holiday season!
